About

The mission of the Innovative Solutions for Scaling Up Global Mental Health Service Delivery Research Program is to draw upon leveraging digital technology and task-sharing evidence from around the world to develop research aimed at increasing training of mental health providers and access to care for all. The research program emphasizes a global-local learning potential demonstrating that low-resource settings have similarities and solutions that can be transported across contexts and cultures both globally and domestically. The team fulfills this mission by:

  • Developing, evaluating, and implementing innovative approaches for engaging and training non-specialist and specialist providers in evidence-based practices to treat and prevent mental health disorders
  • Conducting research in collaboration with global and local partners with a focus on co-design and cultural adaptations for delivery
  • Harnessing digital technology to train providers, increase quality of care, and assist management of self-care at scale
