These workers are often the first point of contact for health services in rural areas, but their own mental health and job satisfaction are rarely studied. Through structured surveys and interviews, the study found that while many CHWs face high levels of physical exhaustion and emotional burnout, a large number still express deep pride in their role. Interestingly, those with higher education levels tended to report stronger motivation and more positive outlooks toward their work.
