Announcement: Welcoming Research Assistant Karina Martínez Rozo

Introducing Karina Martinez Rozo

We are delighted to welcome Karina Martínez Rozo to the Mental Health for All Lab (MHFAL) as a Research Assistant for EMPOWER. Karina is a psychologist from Los Andes University in Bogotá, Colombia. She has experience contributing to research projects focused on youth mental health in vulnerable and armed conflict–affected settings, as well as psychosocial support interventions with Afro-Colombian and Indigenous communities. Karina earned her M.A. in Policy, Advocacy, and Leadership for Early Childhood Well-Being from Boston University, where she worked as a graduate research assistant with Dr. Dina Castro and Dr. Ruth Paris. As a full-time Research Assistant at Harvard, she is interested in advancing equitable access to mental health services for communities facing barriers to care. Her research interests include the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based psychosocial interventions.
