Arista Jhanjee

Arista Jhanjee is an MPH-65 candidate in Health and Social Behavior at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to enrolling in the MPH program, Arista provided administrative, operational, and communications support to the Malaria Elimination Initiative, a global health program at the University of California, San Francisco. Previously, she worked at the United Nations Foundation (UNF) in Washington D.C., helping to organize an international conference convened by the Family Planning 2020 initiative. She also interned with both the Global Health team and the 3D Program for Girls and Women at UNF. As an undergraduate student, Arista completed several other global and public-health focused internships. She received a BSFS (Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service) degree in Science, Technology, and International Affairs and a certificate in International Development from Georgetown University. Arista is passionate about advancing community approaches to mental healthcare and expanding mental health service access within South Asia.
