Maria Bustamante Molina
Maria is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and currently a first year Epidemiology master’s student at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with a specialization in cancer research and cancer prevention. She enjoys advocating for and doing research within health equity -- specifically within minority and vulnerable populations, and how it correlates to the economic, social, and environmental governance of public health. Maria is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and in my free time love to rock climb and run!
Maria's role at EMPOWER will be in supporting the adaptation and translation of the English training counseling and behavioral activation intervention courses as well as the assessments and manuals encompassed in the training to Spanish.
