Kieon is the Staff Assistant for two mental health programs, The Mental Health for All Lab and GlobalMentalHealth@Harvard Initiative at Harvard Medical School. He also provides administrative support to Professor Vikram Patel.

Kieon has two Associate Degrees in Criminal Justice and Business Administration from Dean College. He has prior experience in healthcare administration and higher education administration. His research interests are post-operation depression among transgender individuals, the effects of social media on LGBTQIA+ mental health, and depression among LGBTQIA+ people of color. He is passionate about access to healthcare and the mental health of LGBTQIA+ people and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color).
